OK Here goes. Started off with resolution changing to 600x400. It will not change back! Started checking everything. What i have found so far is this little lot.

On boot up i get this message:
Rundll32 has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL. Rundll32 will now close.

So i close that message and underneath it is this one:

Error loading C:WINDOWS\SYSTEM\NvCpl.dll A dynamic link library (DLL) initialisation routine failed.

As far as i can find out it seems i have lost a driver for the monitor (VGA) and also a keyboard driver. If i try and download a driver (or anything) i get the message;

Fd has caused an error in VGA.DRV. Fd will now close.


So i'm stumped, cannot get a driver for what i think is the problem!
Any ideas? HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!!!!!!

Try installing the VGA driver from installation disk that came with computer.
I had the same problem once before and that helped me. As far as Kernal32 problem good luck with that one. You might try CCleaner to get rid of some of the junk left by other programs.
