Folder Redirection Problems

I have a user that stores his documents in "My Documents" which is reddirected to a server through the user Profile tab and setting the home folder in the server. However, when he deletes or changes a file name after he reboots the deleted file comes back and the name change does not stick! I can find no reason or find where these files are kept??
HELP !!!
