Since I updated Mcafee's virus scan program Outlook Express is taking at least two minutes to bootup. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, but it makes no difference.I also uninstalled Mcafee but that hasn't help either.

I'm using IE5.5 with Win98 and everything else seems to be running OK.

it checking your email before it downloads it so there is a setting in mcafee to let you shut off that option,sorry I dont run mcafees so cant tell you where.
