Angry IE 6.0: Page pops up when loaded. How to prevent?

I tried typing this in a more lengthy format, but was booted from web. Here's short version...

When I have multiple pages loading at a time they pop up as they complete obscuring my work, causing me to have to minimize every time they finish loading. In IE 5.0 they stayed in the taskbar where I left 'em and only blinked to show they were finished.
It wreaks havoc when I'm trying to reply to multiple forum replies at a time.
how can I get it back to the way it was on the old system??
I must've done something back then to fix the prob. What was it??

Thanks!

~Will

Hi Will

Welcome to CTH

Yes I noticed that, I've changed to Firefox, it's great. You might like to take a look and see if it suits you. See http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/faq for some information. BF
