Is There A Way To Exit Directly To Dos From Win2k. I Currently Have To Restart My Pc To Enter The Dos Platform.

I don't think there is.

Are you dual booting into DOS or using a bootdisk?

At the moment I am dual booting.

I actually just found a utility that appears to allow WIN2K to exit to DOS but now the problem I have is getting the himem386 to work. As far as I know you edit the autoexec and config to recognize himem but I forget the syntax. Any suggestions.

What utility are you using?

I thought W2K parsed the autoexec and config (.sys or .nt) leaving them redundant

You could use Virtual PC (or VMWare, but it's a lot more expensive), and install MS-DOS in that. That way you can run DOS from within Win2000. It's available as a 45-day trial if you want to give it a go before spending any money:

I Have Looked At That As An Alternative But Never Really Tried It. I'll Give It A Try And See What It Can Do.

I Thought So To. I Found The Utility On The Net And It Seems To Work Fine. It Appears To Be Exiting To The C: Drive From The D: Drive. The Main Issue Is That I Need To Edit The Config.sys And Autoexec.bat Files To Be Able To Access The Himem386. This Is The Major Problem.

try this for editing the files, MSCONFIG for XP works with 2KPro
