After IE6 is connected the display reads:
The page cannot displayed. I check all my security settings and all their other suggestions, but the only thing thats works is clicking refresh or home.

In IE go to tools>Internet Options>Connection and there's a setting in there to stop it connecting automatically, you can then connect before you load up IE.

Thanks Steven, I tried that with no results.
I did try going to MSCONFIG in run and disable all Startup Files. Try it again and it worked. All I haft to do is, click Explorer icon and my home page comes up.
So I put a check mark by 3 startup files at a time. (It work each time.) So I set msconfig back to normal and it is still working fine. So, I don't know what my problem was?

Can you just confirm that it does let you get to sites? If that's the case then I wouldn't be too concerned about having to hit refresh after it's dialed up.

Hello Steve,
Everything is working fine, I don't haft to hit refresh.
I Know my problem is in one of my start-up files, I suspect it is the HP Support Site.,
which will automatic dial-up when you ask them a question. I will let know when it happens again.
