Homepage greyed out in ie 5.5 and 6
I was hit with a virus on my pc, one of the symptoms was that my homepage selection was greyed out in ie 5. I was able to change it using the registry but was wondering if anyone knew of a way to re-enable it. I tried upgrading to ie 6, from a full uninstall of ie. I have cleaned up the virus with norton 2000. What next?

Have you tried a Repair of IE?
Goto Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Internet Explorer> Click the Remove Button. A dialogue box will appear and will have a repair option. If using Win98, you can use the System File Checker. Click Start>Run> type SFC, then press return.
