I used the boot disk utility on my Windows 2000 CD to make four floppy boot disks. However, when I restart my computer with Disk 1 in drive A, it says "diskette drive 0 seek failure" and then doesn't do anything. I'm using an external Imation disk drive. Does anyone know what the problem is here?

Do you have a floppy drive inside the case? Have you ever booted with that drive before?

You may need to get the drivers for your External drive and add them to your first bootdisk.

If you have booted from it before, you could try going to www.bootdisk.com and download a set of Win/2000 bootdisk.
