Hi,
I have a computer with Windows 2000 pro sp4. Ive been using a copy of Symantic corp.'s Norton System Works 2002 for my utilities programs, unfortunately it only supports up to sp3. So im out of luck and need to get either a newer version of system works or a different set of programs all together.

So far ive been impressed with the Norton programs, they seem to be rather well built and the virus protection seems to be cutting edge, though im not that well versed in such matters and could be under a spell of sorts. Anyone have any suggestions?

If you are happy with Norton then you may be best to upgrade to the latest version.

I don't use a utility suite myself.
I use Ace Utilities, Zone Alarm and Norton 2002.

What all utilities are you looking to have? I don't use a suite either, but instead I use specific utilities that suit my needs, such as:

AdAware (http://www.lavasoft.de) for spyware

Diskeeper (http://www.executive.com) for defragmenting

Norton Anti-Virus/Security (http://www.symantec.com) for virus protection and software firewall

HyperSnap (http://www.hypersnap.com) for taking screenshots

Pest Patrol (http://www.pestpatrol.com) for blocking certain adware and cookies
