Computer freezes at "Windows ME" screen at startup
Whenever i start up my computer, it gets stuck at the windows ME screen. I can't do anything from there.
Can anyone out there help me?

I am just going to offer my best advice, with no gaurantee whatsoever that it is correct, as I have not had much experience with ME.

I believe it is during this time that the system is starting is services. These can be viewed by running SERVICES.MSC from the run dialog in the Start menu. I would think that one of the services is causing this problem, the reason for which, however, could be a virus.

What anti-virus software do you use?
