you should be able to get a copy of command.com off of your win98 cd. Also you can get boot disks from bootdisk.com. The ones for win98 might have a copy of command.com on it also.

I've downloaded the boot disk from that website. It's not working on my computer. I still get the error. Any ideas?

edit: I created an emergency boot disk using my win98 cd. I started my computer and when it asked for the location of "command.com" i typed it in and it located it. My computer didn't start though. How can I get it to send the "command.com" file from the A drive to the C drive in MS-DOS mode?

Welcome

Download this file to your desktop
http://ephemeral-designs.com/downloads/boot98c.exe
RUN the file in Windows and it will prompt for a floppy disk.
This will create a startup disk.

Boot from the disk and at the A:\ prompt type

SYS C:
press enter

Remove the disk and reboot.
