Hi,

I like to reformat my harddrive. I have done it before but it has been a couple of years since last time. I push sys rq after starting up computer but it doesn't take me to the set up screen. I have tried to restore it, but it doesn't let me do it. Just tells me to first turn off the computer and then restore. I'll do that and the same message comes up. I like to completly clean out the hard drive.
Any help appriciated.
Thanks in advance.

There are three steps to do it properly.

How to Delete a Partition (fdisk)
How to Create a Partition (fdisk)
How to Format a Partition

How to Delete a Partition (fdisk) (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/html/tutorials/tutorial.php/id/36) is the first step and at the bottom of the page is the next step.

Here is a Windows ME bootdisk creator file from http:www.bootdisk.com (Windows Me OEM) (http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm)
Put a blank floppy disk in the floppy drive and click on bootme.exe
