Linksys Cable/DSL Router is Great!
Just got finished switching over to a new system for my 4 computer LAN and internet access. Got a 4 port Linksys Router. Plugged in the four computers into the router, configured the TCP/IP to obtain IP address automatically. Plugged in the cable modem to the WAN port on the router. Fired up the computers. All were working on the LAN and each computer can access the web independently! I mean that was the easiest thing I've ever done with a computer. Internet access is faster, and all my computers on the LAN are faster. That is one nice and easy setup to do.
I use nothing but Linksys and never had one bit of trouble setting up the NIC's and now the router. Just thought I share this so others would know that it can be done at a low cost and with excellent hardware from Linksys.

hehe, not enough.
Really though, I have nothing to do with Linksys other than I have used their products many times over the past few years. I like to pass along info in hardware that works! I've found that 3Com is too expencive and seems to conflict with other hardware alot. Netgear isn't all that good. SOHO is OK. But Linksys installs sooooo easy, works sooooo well, and cost is low. If anyone at Linksys sees this, will you please send cash?
