Uninstall IE6

I want to reinstall IE5.5, so how do I get rid of IE6?

hi nancy

go to control panel , add/remove programs.

select IE6 and click - remove.

will bring up a window that gives you the option to restore a previous version.

I tried this earlier but the restore previous configuration button is greyed!

ok , the other way is to go to the windows update site.........
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

click on "product updates"
after they finish scanning and give you a list of updates , click on "show all installed updates".

scroll down the list till you see IE6. you should see an option to uninstall.

this is the only other EASY way that i know.
