I've upgraded my operating system from Windows ME to Windows 2000 Pro. Unfortunately, I can not seem to get all my existing files deleted from Windows ME. I have tried doing a clean install numerous times now and my existing files still remain. I want to get rid of everything on my "c" drive.
The reason for the upgrade was the result of me not being able to get rid of a win-ad virus or bug.
Can someone please help?

Welcome :)

You cannot upgrade from ME to 2000. It will simply install a clean version of 2000.

If you wish to wipe the drive completely then you can repartition and format during the Setup.

Boot from the Win2000 CD and choose New Installation.
You will get the option to choose the drive to install to and the options for formatting.
