Installing MSN DSL

I have two desktops in my office. One is a P3 and the other is a Celeron, both running Windows 98, second version. I have DSL from MSN. I can get it installed on the P3, but not on the Celeron. It gives me an error message saying the modem isn't connected properly, which it is. These computers are not networked, nor do I want them to be. Can anyone give me any advice on how do install it on the celeron computer since MSN can't help me.

hi copeemmy, welcome to CTH

I'm not familiar with the MSN service, what kind of hardware do you use? Is it a network card or an on board modem?

They send you an Arescom NetDSL 800 external modem. It will connect to the computer either by USB or Ethernet. Neither of which will work.
