Boot up problem [CODE RED]

Hi. I am in need of help. Well, when I turn on my computer it goes through the HP screen then starts on the Windows 98 screen. After that a blue screen pops up with the title "Microsoft Registry Checker". Then at the bottom of the screen it says "Restoring System Files". After about five seconds, a message pops up with a title of "You've restored a good registry". In the message box it says "Windows found an error in your system files and restored a recent backup of the files to fix the problem. Press enter to restart your computer."

Then after it restarts it does this again. Everytime I click "Enter" it restarts and goes through the process again. I've done this many times.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
