Start up problem

When I start the computer, it gets stuck at the dell logo. Thats it.....
Please help.

Will it boot into Safe Mode? To find out, boot the computer and repeatedly press and release the F8 key during the boot process. Don't hold the key down or the computer will stop, reporting a stuck key/keyboard error.

You should get to the Boot Menu where you can choose Safe Mode. Sometimes just booting into Safe Mode and then rebooting into normal mode fixes things, especially if it's a registry problem.

If you installed any software just prior to the problem, while you're in Safe Mode, uninstall it through Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs before trying the reboot into Normal Mode.
