I have a Dell Latitude C600 laptop with P3 850 MX and 384 MB of ram. It has a Windows XP pro and Toshiba DVD Rom. I currently installed WinDVD6, but for some reason the when I play the DVD it lags or it chops off. Are there any suggestions on what kind of DVD software to use or how can I fix it?

They came installed with Cyberlink PowerDVD when new. It's fairly common and runs a treat on a C600.
MAke sure you arent connected to the net when watching a film, then it will be safe to disable your antivirus prog, allowing the DVD prog to run a bit faster.
Also might be worth buying a DVD cleaning kit for your drive.
