When i am starting my computer up it gets past the HP screen, win98 screen. then it goes to the next page (about when your supposed to press enter to log into user). when it gets there it says "Illegal operation on windows". then it just sits there, and i have to shut down my pc.
Any help on how to get rid of the error?
Thanks

Is there any other information given to you in the "Illegal operation" dialog box that pops up?
A process name, Error code, etc?

i started it up to see what the info said and now it says "Error loading explorer.exe" "you must re-install windows"
is there anything that i can do to not re install it?
