Opening A .pdf File

I have Open office on this here machine, and I thought it would open up a .pdf file, but I'm not having much success with this, is there a way of opening the files with Open Office, or do I need some other program to do this? :)

Have you installed Acrobat Reader?

Nope, not since a reformat, but if I have Open Office, do I still need that?

unless OpenOffice has a Plug-In or Support then you will need Acrobat Reader.

Oh okay, thanks, I'll look into seeing if they have a plug in. :)
