MS Scanner Camera Wizard won't run.

When I connect my digital camera using my usb cable, both which I've been using for ages now, the camera wizard fails to start like it did before. Instead, my camera is read as a "removable disk" as the pop up folder reveals every time I connect the usb cable. Does anyone know how to make the camera wizard come back?
