hello all, i am new to this forum and like what i have seen so far and hope someone can help. i am trying to help out a person with a computer problem. she writes that: when booting up we get a popup that says, "explorer has caused an error in ~8272807082 TMP Explorer will now close. if still having problems try restarting you computer" it gives the close box and the X in the corner. if we use either option the computer will blue screen with no icons. shutting down is long and difficult and sometimes we've had to pull the plug. the writing program that came with the system is star office. we havnt been able to access it for about two weeks. printing command freezes the computer.
i have never used windows ME, though i have a lot of experiance with 95, 98, 2k, and xp. i dont know any more about the problem, so if you need more info please tel me and i will cantact the lady.
