IE 6 problem

When I click on open link in new window, the screen just stays empty and no web address is displayed in the address bar. The new window still works because I can click home and the window will then load my home page. This issue also happens with pop up windows.
My computer has plenty of resources, and the option to reuse windows for links is already seleceted. Does anyone have any ideas.

Welcome to CTH

That's not a problem I've come across, I don't really want to suggest reinstalling IE yet, it's a little drastic if someone else knows what would fix this one!

If one of the other members has seen this one before I'm sure they'll post with some help soon

I have had the problem with the open link in new window. The link I have the problem with has javascript code designed to open in a new window but it will open to a particular browser window but will default to the second window I have open (if I have more than one window open) so I like to right click and open new window. I get the same empty thing. Never found away of getting around it but it seems like all your errors are dealing with the new windows and popups and there may be some javascript involved... maybe a pattern I don't know.

I had this same problem, go to http://support.microsoft.com/default...;EN-US;q177054 This seemed to help me, but I am having problems keeping the settings, so if any of you figure that out please let me know.
