Norton Antivirus turned off

My windows Security Center says that my Norton is turned off, but as far as I can tell it is running. I am also getting a pop up (from Norton) that says my virus protection is turned off. But the popup closes itself in like .4 secs so I cannot click on it (I can barly read it). It pops up every 10 secs and is very annoying.

Any help?

Apart from the SP2 warning, what happens if you open your Norton program?

Is is showing as Enabled?
If not, then what have you changed?
Was it after adding SP2?

Have you tried reinstalling Norton?
