I regestered a domain name at doteasy.com, and I am not being allowed to connect to ftp.yourdomain.com. I am geting a 530 error and no matter what I do it won't let me connect. Doteasy has been LESS THAN HELPFUL. I have tried everything I can think of. Can someone pls help...

Welcome to CTH :)
An error 530 means your username and/or password are wrong.
Make sure that the username and password are entered in the correct case, so password isn't the same as PaSsWoRd
It could be that you've put the wrong server name in, so you're trying to connect to a server you don't have an account.

Well, in the e-mail the sent me after I regestered It tells me to use ftp.yourdomain.com and i am using the password and username (the one I specified upon regestration)they sent me, and I am typing it in exactly as it is in the e-mail. I e-mailed doteasy and they said nothing was wrong.... but i still can not login..... Every time I try it will connect me for a split second, but then boots me off. It even says "connected" and "waiting for welcome message... but then it kicks me off.. What should I do?
ps THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY! You are the only person who has even attempted to help me. I have been trying to get this to work since last thurs.

hmm you have changed yourdomain.com to your actual domain name haven't you?
Maybe try a different ftp client just to rule that out.
