Is anyone still using a Commodore? Wasn't that a 1982 machine?

I know one of my mates still has one. Though I think they came out after the Sinclair ZX Spectrum from memory, and yep would've come out around '82.

I can't say I know anyone that uses one for surfing the internet lol Have you seen the tape drives for one of those comps ???? lol They're HUGE !!! Imagine how big the ext. modem would have to be lol and on a 64k computer how would it handle a 56k modem lmao http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif lol

Did ya see on those "Whose using what browsers" links I put on a previous post to this one that some people still use their Commodore Amigas for surfing ????

Pretty amazing how technology has progressed man !!!

Well all I can remember is the Commodore 64 that my partents were so proud of back then... the tape drive was big! But it was the latest thing! LOL http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif I can't imagine honestly using one of those for anything more than text files. Now where'd I put that 8-track tape player of mine?

Its where my 45 records are.All in one nice neet box just waiting for the trend/fad to come back. Anyday now.

well Bill, I'm sure the records trend/fad will come back sometime soon. I mean, come on. Yo-yo's came back about 1 1/2 years ago, and now scooters are coming back. Yep, records are probably next on the list...

Yep, and right after that will be Black and White TV sets and grammophones!

Get real, I mean I love my vinyl but it isn't EVER coming back.
I stll see the odd 12" single around (because i like my dance music) but that's about all that gets released on the black stuff these days.

Hey,

But smurfy a decent record player playing an unscratched vinyl can sound sooooo much better than a CD IMHO http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif

hey smurfy i waas being sarcastic. trends and fads come back, but records are/were considered technology, and technology never comes back. that means that commodore 64's won't be back, but flares and hippies will be back. what a world too look forward too!
(p.s. i was being sarcastic again SMURFY)
