Faster Typing using dvorak keyboards

I was looking into some ways to increase my typing speeds and came across this article (http://members.networld.com/arobinson/) about the dvorak keyboard. I was wondering what everyone's oppinion on this matter was, or if anyone had better ideas on how to improve typing speeds; and how to get ride of the ridiculous habit of looking at your fingers while you type.

I personally never had any trouble typing. My typing speeds are not restricted by the time it takes me to find the keys, only by the simple fact that I can only move my hands so fast. I see no reason for a new layout. I'm sure others will disagree, this is just my opinion.
