image link?

Question: Why does this img/link <A HREF="http://palws.tripod.com/Main.html" TARGET=_blank> <IMG SRC="http://palws.tripod.com/gifs/mac-osx.gif" border=0></A> show up fine and in good working condition here at CTH, yet when its posted on another BBS it has the normal lmg ring around it?

Bill,

Are u using HTML to post the outlined image on the other forum ?

If so include this...

BORDER="0"

inside the IMG tags and that should cure that problem.

Mishy I was using ubb..[url= blah blah ][img blah....

I don't think I've tried it with html.

I'll run and check that out...be back in a short..

Actually it's probably got something to do with the way other boards parse the image tag. All the Ubb software does really is take your UBB code and convert it to html.

Hi there.
So thats all the ubb does Buzz. I've wondered about how it got changed when you go into the edit mode and see the difference in code, I guess.

Mishy just off the top of my head, lets see Roms is 5.44a, Tigs is 5.45c, techsurvivors is 5.45c, and MacFixit is 5.47a. Not bad for just off the top of the head (((I cheated)))

It's because of the way UBB is set up at different places.
