Interface is a little unusual, but very functional.

Some say it's as good as PhotoShop, wouldn't go that far but it is free!

hmmm... never heard of it.

I checked out the gallery and it does look as though it will do a lot fairly good.

As good as Photoshop! For Free! Well I don't think you could go wrong with it if that's true.

I heard somewhere that a Mac version was in the pipeline, haven't heard anything more.

It's well worth the download for the PC or Linux though.

In case anyone cares, GIMP stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program

Well I did try to download it, just to see what it's all cracked up to be, but I got a bit confused as to what to do to install it!!!

I might be wrong here, but if you look aroung the web site, I think it can be used on a Mac!!!
