Hello there. Hey Mishy or anyone that uses IE5, could you go to my photopage and click into a page or a link and let me know if ya made it in to the page or link?
I heard that some folks can't get into my pages or open the links with IE5.
I'd do it but I don't use IE...what about you buzz <grin>
Be back later.

Dave Thanks!!
I use pictureviewer, but just about any image program should be able to reduce the size down. I'm not to up on windows programs although I'm sure there are plenty. Actually pv is a cheap way of doing it and many say its not the right way but hey it works for me.

Thanks for the heads up Bill.
I do have Irfan View, and I think it will work with thumbnails, but I guess I gotta do a bit more learning about this!! I'm trying to build a small web page using photo's of friends in a small group of friends (hope you can follow this!), Anyway, I was thinking of maybe trying thumbnails if possible, but I can't really get the gist of doing this. Wheen you crate a thumbnail that can be clicked on to see the full size picture, is this just the same as having hyperlinks? I don't understand where the "big" picture will have to be, to get it!!!
Dave.

Dave think of it this way.
Say you upload you're Big pic to whatever server you're using. You get the url of that pic and copy it to some sort of edit thingie <--tech term...<a href="url big pic""><img src="small pic(which you create)"></a>
Thats kinda like the basic. Ya can get fancy but I won't get into that.
Here's one of many Links (http://www.pageresource.com/html/getstart.htm) that can get ya heading in the right direction.
Gota go ...Thanks again guys.
