Sorry if this isn't in the right section or if it's been answered. I looked around and didn't see it.

Anyhow.

I downloaded the shareware version of PSP, and then deleted it. Now every time I try to open a picture, I have to have a browser window open, or it'll say PSP couldn't be found, or something to that effect.

How can I change that ?

Thanks in advance.

the next time you try to open a picture hold down the shift button, that will open a menu with open with, then pick the program you want it to open with.and make sure you have the box with the check mark in it checked and that will open that picture every time.

I tried that.

And I still get this (http://www.angelfire.com/mt/Catholic/PSPmessage.JPG) message.

Apparently Angelfire doesn't let you link images.

Heres the URL. I put the picture on a page.

What program DO you want to use?
If it's Internet Explorer (not recommended):
Open My Computer - Click on View - Folder Options - File Types
Scroll to JPEG and click on EDIT
Next screen click on EDIT again.
Under the "Application used to perform action" box you will see the path to PSP.exe
Click on BROWSE
Find iexplore.exe (Should be C:\Program files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe or similar)
OK your way through.
The disadvantage of using IE to view simple image files is that it is a huge resource hog and will take far to long to open images.

I suggest you download and install the FREE image viewer IRFANVIEW (search the web, you'll find it) which is 100 times better for viewing any media file (including audio & video clips). This will have the option to set itself as the default viewer for selected media types (you can pick and choose which types) when you install it.
