you cannot without a third party utility. I was using Norton internet security to block ads but I am moving to firefox because it is free. You can find ad blocking utilities at download.com. Unfortunately none are free but they do have a trial period.

Hi,
What are you referring to?
Firefox doesn't block ad's. It blocks popup windows.

If you want to block ad's you will need other software, as mentioned.

This could be a Firewall, Antivirus or filter software.

Your right again Dan. I've added so many extensions, I quite forgot.

Festive felicitations to you all.
