if i copy a link to a web site then i want to change it name so like www.cybertechhelp.com (http://www.cybertechhelp.com)
and i want it to say click here how do i do it.

Just insert text between your anchor tages like this

For ubb you do it like this....

{URL=http://www.cybertechhelp.cpm}INSERT ANY TEXT HERE{/URL}

I altered the brackets on the UBB so it would show the code.

Buzz, I started to write this and then backed out because it seems so obvious it wouldn't work....but then again, some experts can figure out all kinds of things. Would there be any way, using the UBB code and not HTML, to have your signature be an image? Like I said my brain tells me no, but I'm gonna ask anyway! Thanks a lot.

However, The image tag in signatures is something that is left up to the board admin. And here at Cyber Tech Help the admin has decided to not allow it. Although all the regulars here respect file sizes in signature there are a lot of people out there who don't. Mishy doesn't want to waste a bunch of server space storing image tags for signatures. It's another one of those things that is just better to leave off than to have to run around figuring out who's posting huge signatures. Sorry.

Yeah, I know, I've seen people who do that, so I understand. I just thought there might be some fancy code thing that I didn't know about, because just when I'm starting to think I'm learning about it all, I find out something new! I frequent another UBB board that doesn't allow it, either.
