Hi,
Could you explain step by step how to re-install video and sound drivers.
I have the Windows 95 operating system, AWE 64 sound card and diamond video card an S3 chip. Thank you.

Have you got W95a or B?
There is a subtle difference.
Otherwise your setup is "snap' with mine, SB Awe64 Value & Diamond Stealth20003D card (plus I've got a Monster2 3dfx Voodoo card).
The best thing I can recommend is visit the manufacturers websites and download the drivers available there. The all have good readme files with instructions.
SBAwe64 Homepage (http://www.soundblaster.com/products/sbawe64value/)
SBAwe64 Drivers (http://www.soundblaster.com/drivers/welcome.asp?reg=0&OS=Win95&prod=awe_64&Select=Get+Files&x=53&y=6#filelist) You need sbw9xup.exe at least.
s3 Diamond Graphic cards (http://www.s3.com/default.asp?menu=support&sub_menu=Legacy_Graphics).
There is a link on this page to help identify your card if you are unsure which model it is.
Basically, you need to boot into safe mode, remove the sound & video cards from device manager - one set at a time! - and reinstall using the downloads from these sites.
