Carol,

On 99% of bulletin boards you would have to re-register to change your name http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/frown.gif But what I'll do is change yer name for ya http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif If Carol is free you'll have it and I'll get the password emailed to ya http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Thank you MiShY,

All is well and working.
There is one other board I go on to and it will be less confusing to me to just use the same name.

I had added KIS meaning to Keep It Simple when i asked for tech help.. but im sure you all know by now they wrote the dummies book just for me.... http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif Now if I can just delete the pop up fill in the name list, ill be really cookin...

Carol,

That's easily fixed http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif

Ya just need to delete all your cookies. One cookie stored on your computer from this site contains your login info and that is used to save you from having to re-type in your PW and username for every post.

Deleting them, and then posting again will save a new one on your comp with your new username http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif

MiShY,
All my cookies are deleted with the exception of the "index" and I still have 5 different names popping up.

They were saved whenever I got a pop up asking me if I wanted windows to save my name and password. And I chose yes.

There must be another way to remove that list, any other ideas?? I tried to click on the name and hit delete but it does nothing.

Have a super day, I always appreciate your help.. carol

Thanks Sharpy.
I cleared the one for "forms" but not passwords. Dont know if it works yet because when I opened this, to post, my name and password popped up without me even putting the first letter in the user name box. That was the first time it worked that way..Usually I put in the letter C and 5 or 6 different user names show up. But I'm glad to know where to make the changes you told me about.. thank you, you are Sharp... http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif
