Got a DVD recorder for Xmas and it appears it's junk. We'll be returning it and looking to get another but want to research it first.

which dvd recorder did you get. My favorite place for reviews is cnet.com, you can also go to epinions.com or pcmag.com

We got the Sanyo DRW500 from Walmart. I'm sorry, I should have mentioned it was a DVD recorder for the television, not my computer :)
