Which setting is coreect for the power supply on the PC case, 115 volts or 230 volts? Does it matter or cause damage to the system? Currently ruuning at 115 Volts.

Hello lk,

Unless instructed by the PC manufacturer, leave the voltage alone. To the best of my knowledge, in the US the setting should stay at 115. Changing the voltage without proper understanding can result in server damage to a PC, and maybe even to you. Electrical volts is nothing to be playing with.

Welcome to CTH lk.

I agree with Junky. Since you havn't told us where in the world your from i assume your in the US because your computer is working at 115v, the 230v is for the UK and i think the rest of Europe.
