wallpaper block?

i can't figure out why this problem suddenly occur ??

the text of icons that line up on the left hand side of screen block the wallpaper i put. the text of icons appear surrounded by the background color. i know this problem can happen when the background not compatible with the wallpaper, but i already change the background color to suit it still the same. hopefully somebody know what i mean.

Uh, I'm not quite sure what you mean, but try going to the display settings --> appearence and fiddle with some settings there. Get back to us to C if that fixed it. I would be suprised if it would fix it, cos i'm just taking a wild guess here...

em...

the situation is like this...
each icon on the desktop a description of it like "My Computer", "My Document" and so on...the problem is the description of every icons have a small square background color box, which mean the square background color box normally invisible unless has receive a focus.

is it in windows display properties and to appearance where you tried to change the icons background color?
if not try to go there and change the icon color scheme.
