This is probably a simple problem that I have no idea how to fix. A million adds just keep popping up every time I go to a new site. On the add it says "xlime". Does anybody know how to help with this problem? Thank you everybody,

"Xlime" is particularly nasty spyware.
Download, install, immediately update and then run Spybot (http://download.com.com/3120-20-0.html?qt=SPYBOT&tg=dl-2001&search=+Go%21+) and Ad-Aware (http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910.html?part=69274&subj=dlpage&tag=button). Use them both since each tends to find things the other misses. Let them clean up any spyware found. Don't skip the update step, it's important.
Hopefully, between the two programs, you'll then be "xlime free."

I thought this would work. It showed many add things getting deleted. Although After running each of these scans I got on the internet and xlime still popped up. Is there anything else to do. Thank you for your time,
