Friend in need...can't get to any websites.
Hi, I have a friend who is having problems and cannot get to any websites after getting on line. I have not been on his PC so I am getting information second hand. He has dial up and did not have any anti-virus software so I let him load my norton 2004 and he found some trojan horses and other things which he said he deleted but still cannot get to any websites or send email after getting on line. He does not have ad-aware or hijack this but can't get to a website to download them. Any suggestions?

Hi buddy..if he is on XP you can try downloading THIS on to a floppy and running it on the infected machine.

Looks like that did the trick, he is back on line. I told him to download adaware and hijack this. adaware turned up over 700 bugs. I told him to post his hijack this log to this thread so you should be hearing from him before long. Thanks.
