Hello all. I have an 'old' P133 that had junk all through the hard disk. I upgraded from Win95 to Win98SE without any problems, however I decided to format the hard disk and start again to get rid of the junk. This also went ok. So, what is the problem. I have a Diamond Stealth 2Mb video card but I don't know the version and I don't have the drivers. Can Win98 tell me what card it is so I can try to get the drivers?

Best way is to take the cover off and look at the card, it should have the model on it.
Then look here (http://www.s3.com/default.asp?menu=support&submenu=Legacy_Graphics) for the drivers.

Thanks smurfy. Although the model number was not on the card itself, the linked site told how to find out the card via the DOS 'debug' command. http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif It also had the driver I was looking for. Again, many thanks. http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Thanks smurphy. I couldn't find the model number on the card, but the linked site showed how to find it out using the DOS 'debug' command. http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif It also had the driver that I needed. http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Again many thanks

Thanks for posting back with the result Penguin, and by the way, welcome to the forums.

I use a Stealth 2000 card myself (with a Voodoo2 accelerator for 3D)
It's a good card for it's age and I find that S3 have been very loyal to the old Diamond card owners (after they bought out Diamond) and their site is one of the better ones for finding drivers for older devices.
