Hello,
I use Windows XP with IE6 with a 56K dial-up modem. I use Ad-Aware SE and Spybot S&D on a weekly basis. The past few weeks, I've had a very irritating problem with my pc. It seems to run slow as a rule, and I've tried dozens of things to try to address that issue. Now, however, my browser windows are slower than usual as well. When I click to close a browser window, it takes a minimum of 3 seconds for it to respond. Sometimes it will take 10 seconds for a window to close. When I have several browser windows open and I click one in the background, it takes a long time for it to come to the front. I often have to wait several seconds for the buttons in a browser window to recognize that my mouse is over them to be able to click on them. I'm not sure what is going on, but it is exceedingly frustrating. I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you.

Hello AmiMae

Try downloading and installing Hijack This (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/html/downloads/download.php/id/40) program and run it then post the results in our Cyber Safety Forum (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=25) and someone will take a look at it to see if there's some issues going on in the background.
