Pointer controler problem (part 2)

Thank you Ironside for your reply.
I already have the newest version of intellimouse (3.2).
I downloaded it again ,just for a try,but it did not fix the problem.
It seems that there something wrong with the component that recognize or decode the mouse
movement.The problem is not happening all the time. It can be ok for a week and then come back for 2 or 3 days.When that happens
I have to control the vertical movement with the number pad.
Something else to suggest ? Thanks !

I will check with microsoft and see if I can find any known issues on your problem, hopefully in the mean time somebody else will be along to answer your question.
