Windows ME, firewire, and Ipod mini

Hello all. I have a problem. I was given an Ipod mini as a Christmas present. As I have learned, it does not work with Windows ME. So I downloaded Xplay. As I was reading the instructions to Xplay, it stated that the Ipod mini requires firewire for ME. I have an older Compaq Presario laptop, which does not have a firewire plug. Also, I am using a wireless card. I was wondering if anyone had any sugggestions as to how to go about aquiring firewire for my laptop. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Welcome

See if your Laptop has a PC Card slot.
You can then purchase a Firewire PC Card

You could use a USB wireless adapter then free up the card slot for a firewire card
