Hi, there. My IE browser crashes repeatedly, sometimes freezing the whole computer, and only works if Activex controls are turned off. I've run anti-spyware programs with no success. How can I fix this? Thanks

Is your homepage set to something which uses ActiveX? It could just be something strange in that particular page

No, it could happen at any website regardless of what home page is set to. it happens even at windows update site.
