how is this for open discussion

Hi EVERYONE

I have been a member of CTH for a couple of years now. Not being the most extravert of people I don't always reply on time or have a lot to say, but I do appreciate all the help I have had since joining. And hope I have not offended anyone. The reason I say this is because I have not had the volume of replies I used to. I know CTH has grown but I hope it has not become impersonal. My etiquette has not been perfect at times for which I have no excuse, for which I apologise. I have a hectic life and sometimes forget my manners, especially when getting the pc running is urgent. I have a memory like a sieve and sometimes take on too much and forget the basics.
If I seem bad mannered in future just slap my wrist for me. All the best for the new year.

Michael

Sometimes you just need to wait more than 4 hours to get a reply, after all this is a holiday weekend.

Michael, you havent offended anyone. I see that the majority of your most recent posts have been in the Cyber Safety Forum. Working with Hijack This logs is now so very specialised that we have had to discourage enthusiatic but unqualified members from helping and we have created a new level of membership, Hijack This Helper so that members with a problem can feel confident following advice offered.

The problem being though, that there are only seven active members at the moment that can read logs proficiently. Two of those have other commitments and can post here only occasionally and one is currently on holiday. Four of us live in the Southern Hemisphere which means that some logs will not get read until late afternoon or evening your time. We do our best but the sheer volume of new posts is overwhelming at times. We are all volunteers and we also have jobs and family to take care of. I have checked your most recent two threads and replied to them.
