For a good Pink Floyd concert on DVD, or possibly a Dire Straits concert? :)

Do you both have these, or are they just suggestions? :)

We have a gift voucher for Best Buy, I'll have to look into these two, I don't have any Pink Floyd videos/DVD's at all, just CD's. :)

The Wall and pompeii are briliant. I've seen a bootleg of Knebworth (about '74 I think) but can't find a listing for it on any sites.

Hmmmmm, looks like I may have to buy both of them. :)
So, any Dire Straits suggestions? I love Mark Knopfler's guitar work. :)

Okay, so we got Pink Floyds "The Wall", watched right up until Bob Geldof shaved his eyebrows, me Missus then said she'd had enough of this one, and I had to agree, the music is great, the actual movie seems just plain weird. :(
I'll have a look out for the Dire Straits DVD. ;)

I'm all muso-d out. Back to comedy dvds now. Santa brought me the boxed set of Phoenix Nights series 1 & 2. Funny as it gets - have a look Lufbra, it'll get you all nostalgic for badly kept Marston's Pedigree and soggy Walkers cheese and onion! Top entertainment.

Nonetheless, if you're strong enough to brave this film---and if you're a Pink Floyd fan who's familiar with this classic album, besides---then turn down the lights, crank up the volume on your TV set, and get ready for 100 minutes of music video assault that will rock you AND shake you, as you're taken along with Pink on a journey through the madness of a burnt-out rock star. For better or worse, "Pink Floyd: The Wall" is a rock movie journey you're not likely to forget.
It was a lot better when funny tobacco was used. If you smoked enough, you were actually put into the movie as one of the characters. What trip down memory lane.:dizzy:
