help...sys restore on win 98???

Hi can someone please help me...seems my daughter erased a lot of pics off of my computer and I cant find them again...is there a way to system restore on windows 98????

There is no system restore on Windows 98. System restore only backs up system files, anyway, so it wouldn't have restored your pictures.

Did you look in the Recycle Bin to see if the pictures are still in there? If so, you can restore them from the Recycle Bin.

Sorry. No backups, no pictures or any other object files accidentally erased.
Unless perhaps they are in the recycle bin.
Even with restore points on later versions of Windows, it doesn't do any good if your disk broke, caught fire, drowned, or any number of reasons it will not spin up. Off load all critical backups to another media that can be kept separate from the system. I use a caddy and another hard drive to backup my system.
