Arrow fdisk trouble

look i basically need lots of help

i got this old computer with a version of win 98 and it doesnt work. a quick check yields that there are only two partitions a 100meg (primary) and a 16 meg (extended). however there is a total of 7 gig avaliable (not assigned to partition). you r probly thinking what a moron just delete them and assign it all to one large primary partition. however my problem is

i go to delete the extended drive.... cant do that because it says there are logical drives

go to delete logical drives .... wait a minute ...there are no logical drives (thats what fdisk says_

as you cannot delete the primary partition without removing extended drives i am totally stuck. (oh i also tried to create another logical drive and another extended drive....no luck.)

please help me

If you know the make of the HDD then goto the manufacturers site and download their disk tools to partition and format.
